Medicare Advantage

Medicare Advantage Plans- Offered by private insurance companies, includes Medicare A and B. Some plans also include part D. These plans include HMO, PPO and PFFS. They have low or zero monthly premium and co-pays for services.

All plans limit your out of pocket costs. Some plans include coverage for Dental, Vision & Hearing, these services not covered by Medicare.

Medicare Supplement Insurance

Medicare Supplement

Medicare Supplement Insurance plans are offered by private insurance companies, and help cover some or all of the costs that Medicare part A and B don’t cover.

There are 10 standardized plans, labeled A, B, C, D, F, G, K, L, M, N which are available in most states.

Prescription Drug Plans

Prescription Drug Plans are offered by private insurance companies to help with the costs of prescription drugs.

Specialized Plans

These plans are offered by private insurance companies, and includes Medicare A B & D. They are for people who qualify for Medicare/Medicaid.

There are also plans in some areas for people who have Chronic Illness i.e. heart disease and diabetes.
